Since our inception, we have pursued a singular mission: to offer high-quality, affordable, and enduringly stylish timepieces. Our legacy is rooted in craftsmanship, reliability, precision, and beauty that stands the test of time.

At the Heart of Every Moving Moment

Every second that passes is an opportunity to make your life memorable and unique. An ORIENT watch marks every moment along your path.

Keeping Time the Mechanical Way

We are proud to be at the forefront of mechanical watchmaking in Japan. With mechanical movements produced in-house, we can ensure the highest possible quality for our customers around the world.

Our Unique and Rich Heritage

Dedicated to creating the finest watches for our customers since 1950, both ORIENT and ORIENT STAR offer exquisite style and meticulous precision no matter which line you choose.

1950 New ORIENT

ORIENT was launched on July 13, 1950 by leasing the former factory of Toyo Tokei Co., Ltd. in Hino, and began producing wristwatches that year.

1967 Fineness

The Fineness was one of the thinnest Japanese automatic watches ever created between 1967 and 1974, during a period of popularity for thin dress watches. It had a thinner movement than other ORIENT watch models, using miniaturized parts and reducing the spaces between the gears, and had a monobloc case construction without a separate case back.

1976 Multi-Year Calendar

One of the most popular ORIENT watches ever created was the Multi-Annual Calendar, produced in 1976. The single calendar function displays days 1 to 31, with only one crown adjustment needed for each month.

1991 My Jewel

The ORIENT Mon Bijou is a skeleton watch with a mechanical movement visible inside a beautiful transparent case, and each individual part is hand-polished, which has led to a limited production and a typically higher price. However, the Mon Bijou remains an accessible ORIENT model, remaining as true to our brand mission as it was when it was created in 1991.

2004 Revisiting ROYAL ORIENT

The first ROYAL ORIENT was produced in 1959. Our first waterproof model had a very thin case. In 2004, the re-imagining model was launched. It featured our latest and finest movement at the time, positioning it as the most “Royal” of all ORIENT watches.
